'Nous portons ce trésor dans des vases de terre'

The mural at the front staircase was a project in July 2021. Instead of the bright colours of the front mural, this one is designed to blend much more into the stone, using the oules, the traditional preserving jars, now used as plant pots all around the terrace as an inspiration. The plants in the painting are weeds and wildflowers which grow all around, and on the stairs themselves. The verse was added as an afterthought, as it seemed appropriate.

'For we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.' 2 Corinthians 4:7
