Short Retreats

Thursday to Sunday

Flights are twice a week to Brive, our nearest airport (45 mins by car). Currently the Thursday flight leaves at 12:15 from London Stansted and arrives at 15:00 local time. The Sunday flight is at 9:05 and arrives back at Stansted at 9:45 local time. We are happy to drive to and from the airport.

During your short stay you would have your own space: bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living area. There is also an outside eating area. Join us for our rhythm of prayer, three times a day, and eat with us if you like. Alternatively, you can self-cater, or a mixture of both. We offer various spaces for quiet and reflection, including the labyrinth, oratoire and hermitage garden. There are walks in every direction, some more challenging than others! We can also offer craft materials if you would like to be creative.

Accommodation

We have two separate houses, joined by a corridor. We live in one house (Maison Isally), and the second (Maison Besse) is available for visitors and family. There are two double bedrooms, loft space with additional beds, a large farmhouse kitchen with a large cantou (open fireplace), two bathrooms and a living area. Outside we have a tipi for hot summer nights, and room for camping. There is space to eat outside in fine weather.
